Spray Dry Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Spray Dry Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Spray Dry Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and ensuring the safe and accurate handling of raw materials in a GMP food environment. This role offers opportunities for cross-training and working in different departments. Responsibilities Operate computer systems and handle related documentation. Fill liquids and powders into tanks using accurate measurements. Select the appropriate tank based on manufacturing requirements and batch size. Pick and scan raw materials from the warehouse, ensuring lot number and quantity accuracy. Stage and add materials to the tank according to work order instructions. Operate a forklift to move products around the production floor as needed. Fill and pack orders according to sales order specifications, ensuring accurate weight and labeling. Follow GMP and safety guidelines and procedures. Participate in cross-training and assist in different departments as required. Essential Skills Experience with batching, production, mixing, and compounding. Ability to operate a forklift (stand up and sit down). Experience with machine operation, specifically Spray Dry machinery. Experience in a warehouse setting or logistics with material handling equipment. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with ERP systems and handheld barcode scanners. Safety, Respirator Protection, Lock-out Training, and GMP knowledge. Prior experience in compounding/blending/batching in a food or GMP environment. Attention to detail when reviewing batch records. Why Work Here?
