About the Role We are seeking a skilled technician to join our production team as a Mechanical Build Specialist. In this role, you will transform detailed engineering designs into high-quality finished products, ensuring that every component meets rigorous performance standards while contributing to our overall manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities Execute the precise assembly of complex mechanical components by interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical bills of materials. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to construct assemblies, ensuring structural integrity and functional accuracy. Conduct thorough quality inspections and performance testing to verify that all units align with engineering specifications. Proactively identify and document any material defects or assembly challenges to maintain high production standards. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation to support process transparency and traceability. Partner with engineering and quality assurance departments to troubleshoot assembly hurdles and optimize build workflows. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent certification. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions. Proficiency in the safe and effective operation of standard mechanical assembly tools. Physical capability to stand for long durations and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or technical assembly environment. Working knowledge of shop math for precise measurements and component alignment. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based setting.
