$16.00 per hour

Shift:

1st, 2nd, 3rd QPS Employment Group has a great Assembly position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate assembly equipment according to specifications.
• Assemble hydraulic and related components accurately and efficiently.
• Test completed assemblies to ensure quality and functionality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Support team productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Set up jobs and equipment for production runs.
• Assemble hydraulic units by hand and with power tools.
• Test assemblies to verify performance and quality standards.
• Pick, wash, and prepare parts for assembly.
• Package and/or carton finished products for shipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Work collaboratively in a team-based production manufacturing environment.

Assembly Requirements:

• Strong attendance record.
• Ability to set up jobs and equipment independently.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to meet production and quality standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Must be able to bend, twist, reach, kneel, and stoop regularly.
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements.
