Position Summary The CNC Set-Up Technician (2nd Shift) is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components while meeting quality and safety standards. What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints, including keyways for shaft production Set up and operate CNC machines (drilling, milling, grinding, turning) Convert engineering drawings into machine-ready dimensions Monitor production and adjust machines as needed Inspect parts for accuracy and consistency Perform basic preventative machine maintenance What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of CNC/manufacturing experience Lathe and/or horizontal mill experience preferred Ability to read blueprints, gauges, and keyway specifications Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and in a team environment Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting The employer reserves the right to offer the selected candidate or applicant an hourly rate or salary at an appropriate level to be set and determined by the employer that is commensurate with the applicant's qualifications, experience, education, skill, training, certifications, or seniority.
