This energetic role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure a smooth and efficient store launch. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and basic electrical, plumbing and building automation. This will also include directing crews on post construction clean up, assisting other vendors and equipment providers with access and support at needed. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for customers and staff from day one, ensuring all systems are operational, compliant, and optimized for performance. Responsibilities Provide cleaning, organizing, and assembly support. Install last minute requests for racks, cleaning equipment, carts, PPE stations, signs, etc. Troubleshoot equipment issues during setup and provide support or solutions. Utilize hand tools to perform repairs and ensure all systems meet safety standards. Coordinate with project managers and contractors to adhere to timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards during store opening preparations. Repair or replace installed componets like signs, door sweeps, locks, handrails, clearance related issues. Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and repair records for future reference. Requirements Proven experience in construction or service technician roles with a focus on mechanical systems repair and installation. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van or service vehicle safely; experience as a van driver is advantageous. Problem solving skills and willingness to take or new tasks to ensure support for timelines and requests. Strong leadership skills to direct and assist a 5 to 10 person team. Excellent customer service skills to coordinate with store teams during setup phases; proactive approach to problem-solving under tight deadlines.
