About the Role As a Senior Saw Machine Operator, you will take ownership of complex production runs, ensuring high-precision output and operational excellence. You will leverage your technical expertise to optimize machine performance, drive quality standards, and serve as a key mentor to team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive machine setups, including precise tooling changes and system calibrations to meet production specifications. Perform rigorous first-piece and in-process quality inspections utilizing advanced precision measurement instrumentation. Proactively troubleshoot mechanical and production challenges to minimize downtime and maintain consistent throughput. Interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics to ensure exact adherence to project requirements. Drive operational efficiency by identifying and proposing actionable process improvements and safety enhancements. Maintain detailed production logs, documenting performance metrics, downtime, and corrective maintenance actions. Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance departments to uphold equipment reliability and product integrity. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in 5S initiatives and supporting team development. Qualifications Required Skills 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a machine operation or industrial manufacturing role. Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics. Demonstrated expertise in the use of precision measurement tools for quality verification. Proven ability to perform independent machine setups and adjustments. Strong manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently. Preferred Skills Experience providing technical guidance or training to junior operators. Familiarity with preventive maintenance protocols and identifying equipment wear. Strong commitment to safety standards and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
