Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented Machine Operator Trainee to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in machine operation, fabrication, and manufacturing processes within a dynamic production environment. As a trainee, you will receive comprehensive training on various industrial equipment and gain hands-on experience in ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on the shop floor. Duties Assist in setting up and operating a variety of machinery including Folder gluers, stitchers, paper slitters, and general box gluers under supervision. Learn to interpret technical drawings and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision tools such as tape measures to verify product specifications. Follow safety standards rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Support troubleshooting and basic maintenance of industrial equipment to minimize downtime. Participate in quality control inspections. Collaborate with team members on materials handling, tooling setup, bundling, and strapping tasks to meet production goals. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or relevant coursework in manufacturing is a plus. Basic understanding of shop math, blueprint reading, and mechanical blueprints interpretation. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment is desirable but not mandatory—training will be provided. Ability to operate basic measuring tools like tape measures accurately. Mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning industrial equipment troubleshooting and fabrication techniques. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards in production environments. Willingness to learn new skills related to Corrugated box production, and safety procedures. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for hands-on work is essential. This position requires being on your feet for long periods of time.
