Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to cut, band, and drill cabinet parts for production. This role requires attention to detail and a willingness to learn, with on-the-job training providing the potential to advance to an upper level operator position. Collaboration with co-workers is essential, as all tasks require teamwork. The ability to troubleshoot machines to maintain efficiency and product quality is crucial. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines to cut, band, and drill cabinet parts. Collaborate closely with co-workers to complete tasks. Troubleshoot machines to ensure efficiency and quality of products. Participate in on-the-job training and strive for advancement. Work Environment You will work in a manufacturing environment that is non-temperature controlled, with over 500 employees across two locations. Must be open to working 6 hours every other Saturday for Effingham and 6 hours every other Friday. Initial training occurs on the 1st shift for roughly 3 weeks, followed by a transition to the respective shift. A 10% shift differential applies to off-shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Teutopolis, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
