Packaging Operator - 2nd
Shift Pay:
$20.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30
PM Shift:
2nd Shift Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support daily production and packaging operations. This position involves operating and monitoring equipment, packing production batches, handling materials, completing production documentation, and following food safety and sanitation procedures. Responsibilities Pack production batches and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Accurately record production and other required information on designated forms and documents. Follow established CIP, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Transfer materials and efficiently set up equipment, supplies, and packaging materials. Follow food safety procedures and understand their importance in producing safe, quality products. Identify and promptly communicate food safety or product quality concerns to Shift Leads or Management. Perform all assigned duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies. Complete assigned tasks accurately and consistently while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. Ability to use an RF scanner and accurately report batch quantities. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously when necessary. Ability to follow safety requirements, forklift policies, and required PPE guidelines. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to recognize and report equipment, production, or quality issues. Ability to work overtime when needed. Ability to learn and consistently follow operational, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Ability to accurately complete required documentation and record-keeping. Schedule & Pay 2nd
