Batch Mixer The Batch Mixer / Processing Operator is responsible for accurately blending and processing dry food products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role requiring experience with batch mixing, following formulas, and operating industrial equipment while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards. Requirements of the Batch Mixer Demonstrated job stability with consistent work history Minimum 5+ years of experience in batch mixing, blending, or processing within a manufacturing environment (dry food or powder strongly preferred) Proven experience following formulas/recipes and accurately weighing ingredients Strong knowledge of GMP and food safety standards; HACCP experience preferred Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform machine setups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting Experience working with industrial mixers, blenders, or similar processing equipment Strong math skills for weights, measurements, and batch calculations Responsibilities of the Batch Mixer Set up, operate, and monitor blending and processing equipment for dry food production Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to batch formulas and specifications Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to maintain efficiency Complete production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Follow all GMP, HACCP, safety, and sanitation procedures Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas according to established procedures
