In this role, you will support the operation of converting and printing machinery, ensuring smooth production processes while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, manual handling skills, and a keen eye for detail to assist in maintaining efficient workflow and high-quality output. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment committed to excellence. Duties Assist with the setup, adjustment, and operation of converting machines such as flexo presses and other industrial equipment. Support machine operators in maintaining safety protocol adherence throughout all production activities. Perform dimensional measurements and quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards. Handle raw materials, paper packaging, and finished goods with manual handling techniques to ensure proper placement and storage. Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical instructions accurately for efficient machine operation. Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor adjustments to machinery to prevent downtime. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including safety equipment inspections. Support the implementation of safety standards in production environments by following established procedures. Assist with packaging finished products according to specifications while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and optimize productivity. Qualifications Prior experience or training in machine operation within a manufacturing or printing environment is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform simple troubleshooting and adjustments. Familiarity with industrial equipment such as flexo presses, converting machines, and machining tools. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and safety protocol adherence. Ability to interpret technical documents, work orders, and drawings accurately. Competence in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to dimensional tolerances. Experience with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided. Strong manual handling skills with attention to detail and quality assurance. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
