Operate all packing equipment and systems. This includes operation of the bin gates, packing scales, bag hangers, bag sealers, palletizers, and conveyors. 2. You are the last line of defense in the quality of our product and bags. Ensure the feed is correct, the bags are correct and sealed well, and date codes are correct and legible. 3. Operational housekeeping is to be maintained at all times as prescribed by cGMP's. Keep your work area well swept, neat, clean, and organized. 4. Ensure that the equipment is weighing properly by following the established guidelines. 5. Sample all runs in accordance with established procedures. 6. Notify supervisor immediately of any problems such as incorrect weights, contamination, color change of or mixed feed, bag issues, etcetera. 7. Perform routine maintenance on the above-mentioned equipment per a pre-established frequency schedule. 8. Be able to learn to operate a forklift following established safety rules. 9. Complete and distribute reports as required. 10. Operate and verify that metal detection devices are working properly. Perform metal detection verification as prescribed in the Preventive Controls of the Food Safety Plan. 11. Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs. 12. Work in the most effective and efficient manner at all times. 13. Follow established plant safety rules. 14. Follow established rules of conduct and maintain compliance with food safety standards at all times. 15. Complete End of Week Cleaning per established SSOP's. 16. Work overtime as required. 17. Perform other duties as assigned.
