Packaging Machine Operator -
Summer Help Location:
Hamilton, Indiana Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00
PM Overtime:
When required, overtime will be scheduled on Fridays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Are you looking for a great summer job with a consistent schedule and three-day weekends We are seeking dependable and motivated Packaging Machine Operators to join our team in Hamilton, Indiana. This is a seasonal summer position working in a fast-paced production and packaging environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate packaging equipment and automated machinery to package products according to work orders. Count and verify product quantities to ensure accuracy. Pack products into bags and boxes while maintaining quality standards. Place containers onto conveyor lines for processing. Apply labels and barcode stickers to products as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with team members to meet production goals. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. Ability to perform basic math and counting functions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn and assist with various tasks as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds. Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
Work Environment:
This position is located on the production floor. Employees will routinely count, package, and prepare products for shipment. The work environment may be warm during the summer months and cool during the winter.
