These operators set up, maintain, and operate machinery, ensuring products meet specific dimensions and quality standards. • Pay Rate:
• _The pay rate for this job is $17 - $25 / hour
• _ •What you'll be doing as a

Machine Operator:

• + Sharpen cutting or grinding tools.

+ Replace worn equipment components.

+ Operate grinding equipment.

+ Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.

+ Calculate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment.

+ Feed materials or products into or through equipment.

+ Determine production equipment settings.

+ Record operational or production data.

+ Construct patterns, templates, or other work aids.

+ Adjust equipment controls to regulate coolant flow

+ Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences

• Available shifts:
• Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
• Job requirements:
• + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + 1-3 years of experience with metal forming machinery preferred.

+ Proficiency in operating metal forming machinery, and other milling equipment.

+ Trouble shooting mechanics, hydraulics and/or electric systems in a metal forming machine preferred.

+ Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.

+ Ability to read and interpret work orders.

+ Familiarity with using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

+ Basic math skills for performing calculations related to dimensions, tolerances, and angles.

+ Experience in fabricating and assembling components.

+ Knowledge of stationary crane operation for moving heavy materials preferred

+ Background check and drug test required
