Job Description
Job Summary Operates and maintains aluminum and steel processing equipment and/or performs warehousing functions in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for meeting plant targets for safety, quality, and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Works in a manufacturing environment emphasizing teamwork, safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement through in-house training and development.
- Follows standardized work instructions for each process.
- Directly responsible for performance of assigned work area.
- Operates various mechanical and mobile equipment in connection with job duties.
- Performs visual inspections of various materials.
- Performs mechanical equipment set up to specifications.
- Packages and unpackages steel and aluminum coils for various purposes
- Uses measuring devices to ensure product meets all required specifications.
- Understands and follows all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Keep work area clean including mopping and sweeping as required.

Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and work well with others in a group environment.
- Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Basic computer skills for data entry are required.
- Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate information.
