Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Box Packagers to join our manufacturing team on either 1st and 2nd shift. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing finished bus seats and related components for shipment by hand or machine, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and customer specifications. This role is critical in the manufacturing-to-shipment process, requiring attention to detail, physical dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 1st

•3:30 am) Responsibilities Load materials and products into package processing equipment for efficient packing Wise Seats. Package finished bus seats and components securely, following company and customer specifications. Print and apply UPC, product labels, and any required markings as directed Wise Seats. Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure they meet packing specifications. Measure, weigh, and count products to verify accuracy and compliance with orders Wise Seats. Operate and maintain packaging equipment such as box sealing tape dispensers, bundling machines, clamshell sealers, heat sealers, staplers, strapping dispensers, and wrapping machinery Wise Seats. Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. Follow standard operating procedures with minimal supervision; accept new training as needed. Work overtime when required to meet production schedules. Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations is preferred, especially within a packaging environment. Basic math skills for measuring and counting components accurately. Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment and packaging machinery. Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and follow detailed instructions precisely. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
