Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Equipment Assembly Assistant to support daily warehouse and equipment operations. The primary responsibility of this position will be English-to-Mandarin and Mandarin-to-English translation , with additional responsibilities including assisting with equipment assembly, general assembly work, and providing safe and efficient forklift operation when needed. Primary Responsibilities Mandarin/English Translation - Priority Responsibility Provide basic translation between English and Mandarin for employees, supervisors, vendors, and/or assembly personnel as needed. Assist with communicating work instructions, safety information, assembly procedures, and day-to-day workplace communication. Help ensure important instructions are clearly understood between English- and Mandarin-speaking team members. Translate verbal instructions and basic workplace information accurately and professionally. Forklift Operations Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stage, and organize materials and equipment. Transport materials throughout the warehouse and work areas as needed. Assist with receiving, staging, and preparing materials for assembly. Follow all applicable warehouse and forklift safety requirements. Equipment Assembly & Assembly Assistance Assist with the assembly of equipment, machinery, components, and related materials. Read and follow basic assembly instructions, drawings, or work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as required. Assist experienced team members with equipment assembly projects. Maintain a clean and organized assembly and work area. Qualifications Mandarin and English communication skills required. Ability to translate basic workplace instructions and conversations between English and Mandarin. Experience with equipment assembly, mechanical assembly, installation, or similar hands-on work preferred. Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment. Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools. Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, standing, walking, bending, and moving materials.
