Bindery Worker Job Details Schedule :
Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM-7:30
AM Pay Rate:
$16.50/hr
Location :
Hebron, KY Bindery Worker Requirements/Qualifications Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Must be able to read and understand work orders. Excellent and consistent attendance required. Strong attention to quality and detail. Effective communication skills. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive bending and twisting. Ability to perform detailed, repetitive handwork. Willingness to learn how to set up and operate small bindery machines. Jeans or shorts, T-shirt, and closed-toe shoes required. Dependable and interested in a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity. About the Bindery Worker Role As a Bindery Worker, your responsibilities will include: Learn to set up and operate small bindery and finishing machines. Install spiral binding onto books. Operate stitchers, drills, coil makers, laminators, and perf and crease machines. Separate book blocks and individual pages. Insert components and assemble books. Perform spiraling, gluing, and tip-in repairs. Complete binding and rework tasks. Perform detailed handwork throughout the production process. Assist on packaging lines. Box and unbox finished products and materials. Read and follow work orders accurately. Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy. Maintain an organized and safe work area.
