Summary The plastic Injection molding operator position operates injection molding machines. The Operator's primary responsibility is molding quality parts to support the company mission "to deliver good products on time." Responsibilities Remove the molded plastic parts from injection molding machines. Trim part from runner using a gate trimming side cutter. Trim flash from part if needed. Inspect part using written and verbal instructions. Efficiently and accurately read and follow work instructions Pack parts in boxes/containers. Record rejects parts at the molding machine. Advise the next operator of any information about press or molded parts. Maintain a clean work area that meets 5S standards. Complete paperwork and check sheets per standard work. Communicate with technicians, team leaders, and management. Adhere to stop, call, and wait in order to minimize defects. Support continuous improvement activities through the KAIZEN program. Complete any task you're Team Leader or Supervisor asks of you. Comply with Safety procedures and guidelines at all times Performs other duties as assigned. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Summary The assembler uses a variety of tools to manufacture the products. An assembler is detailed oriented and is responsible for carrying out tasks to ensure all products made meet the standards of the BSP. Responsibilities Assembling and testing all manufactured products prior to being shipped to the customer Participating in continual training and development Completing daily reports to indicate goods that have been shipped and to identify late orders Reading and following basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and instructions to accurately assemble components into finished products Assisting other Assemblers when required Performing work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace or assembly station Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Mold Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred. Familiarity with molding machines and related equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Physical Requirements Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach and move across uneven surfaces. Ability to stand most of the shift. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Qualifications Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail to follow directions thoroughly Ability to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive tasks Ability to self-motivated On the job training Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing up to 8 hours or more. Must be able to lift and carry objects of varying sizes and weights Spend significant time on their feet, walking the production floor Bend, stoop, or kneel to access machinery, inspect products, or perform tasks at various heights. Ability to follow safety guidelines. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and identifying and mitigating safety hazards.
