We are a rapidly growing company with many growth opportunities. Role Summary Join Joval's manufacturing team as a Laser Table Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate with at least 6-months experience working with a Plasma or Laser Table. Strong on-going training and advancement opportunities. Key Responsibilities Accurate operations of basic measuring equipment, including but not limited to: tape measure, caliper, and micrometer. Set up and operate CNC laser table for multiple product manufactured throughout the day. Mastering the understanding of how to access and select the proper program files to operate the Laser efficiently. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance in laser department. Adhere to all procedures and rules outlined in the laser department manual. Safe operation of material handling equipment. Other duties may include saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend and or straighten metal. Help with any of the Joval teams' needs as they arise. Minimum Qualifications Required Minimum of 6 months experience working in a manufacturing facility on a Plasma or Laser table. High School Diploma or GED. Auto CAD familiarity a plus. Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple paperwork. Preferred Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments. Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment. Experience reading simple diagrams or infographics. Skills and Attributes Safety-first mindset and attention to detail. Team player who communicates respectfully and helps others. Growth orientation and eagerness to learn new skills. Dependability and accountability. Practical problem-solving and willingness to raise issues constructively. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, walking, and manual handling of materials. Use of hand tools and light machinery; training provided. Some tasks involve handling fiberglass insulation; PPE and training provided. Comfortable standing for full shifts and performing repetitive physical tasks. This position occasionally must facilitate the transfer of 100 pounds of metal, using machine assist. Regular transfer of light to heavy metal objects that may have sharp edges from pallets to trucks, etc. is required. Bending at the waist and dragging of parts is regularly required. Laser Operator will be required to manage machine processes through a computer. Position is constantly inside a semi-open-air warehouse. In the summers there can be high heat, although there are mitigating efforts in place around the warehouse.
