Lafayette, LA) Halliburton - 3.8 Lafayette, LA Job Details Temporary | Contract $23 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Fabrication Mechanical fabrication Power drills Moving High school diploma or GED Bridge crane operation Lifts and hoists Power tools Full Job Description The Associate Machine Operator working under close supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools which may include numerical control/computerized numeric control lathes, mills, drills, computerized numerical control/numerical control and/or manual machines.

Pay Rate:

$23.00/hour, depending on experience.

Assignment Length:

6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Shift Details:

Night shift | Monday - Thursday | 4:00 pm - 2:00 am |10-hour shift|Overtime/weekends are available

Responsibilities:

May be required to read blueprints, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work. This is not a typical CNC machinist position; this will be a wire wrap-on pipe machine that requires machine operation.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or

GED. 1-2

years of hands-on machining or manufacturing experience. Ability to safely operate and monitor industrial machinery. Experience operating an overhead crane for lifting and moving heavy materials. Hands-on experience using powered hand tools, such as grinders and drills, for fabrication or maintenance tasks.
