Join our Manufacturing team production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship. The Wax team creates and refines high-quality wax patterns for the lost-wax casting process. They use a variety of handheld tools, similar to dental instruments, to shape wax and plastic injections from molds. They will inspect the quality of pieces and remove any flaws from the patterns. The separate wax and plastic pieces are combined onto a common sprue rod to create a tree-like structure also used in the lost-wax casting process. The role of a Wax Technician - Plastic is to efficiently produce plastic patterns of the highest quality possible to be used for the lost wax casting process. To accomplish this, you will be using a variety of handheld tools. You will create the wax pattern by using a plastic injection machine and metal molds. Then, you will inspect the quality of the plastic injection and hand it off to the next step in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Process fill lines for specific order requirements for count, size, & color while maintaining efficiencyInspect injected patterns to ensure the highest quality part for the casting processInspect parts for quality issues or imperfectionsPerform manual paper processing operations necessary to fulfill daily work operationsUse a series of metal molds to produce duplicate plastic patterns of a specific series number using a plastic injecting machineComplete computer-based training periodically.

Monitor emails to attain and communicate important information.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentReliable team player with strong communication skillsAbility to maintain excellent numerical accuracy in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn new skillsDemonstrated proficiency in tasks requiring manual dexterity and close-range detail observationProficient eyesight capable of detecting minor flawsFlexibility with hoursAble to sit for your work shift and perform repetitious production tasks
