Role:
OCM is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Blending Technician to join our manufacturing team in Monroe, LA. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring our products are crafted to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor blending equipment to mix materials according to established formulas and specifications Measure, weigh, and document raw materials accurately prior to blending Perform quality control checks throughout the blending process to ensure product consistency Maintain detailed batch records and production logs in compliance with standard operating procedures Clean, sanitize, and perform routine maintenance on blending equipment Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or quality issues to supervisors Follow all safety protocols, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements on the production floor
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus Prior experience in a blending, mixing, or manufacturing production environment preferred Ability to read and follow formulas, work orders, and standard operating procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and accuracy Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and calculating material quantities Familiarity with GMP, safety regulations, and proper PPE usage Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
