Job Description

Second Shift 3:30 pm-1:30 am

Summary:

This position requires that the employee stand in a central location for long periods of time to operate and maintain machine.

Primary Duties:

Keep machine running continuously. Make all necessary machine changes to accommodate the size of tubes being produced. Clean machine daily. Stay current and knowledgeable on piping system. Trouble-shoot any problems that may arise with the equipment. Perform set-up and change over on all filling machines. Make sure appropriate materials are in the right machines. Research and recommend product improvements Ability to Demonstrate and learn the following levels Level 8 (Including knowledge of previous levels) Line Operation(across all machines)

Non-Essential Duties:

Maintain clean and safe work space Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor

Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum of six (6) months related experience and / or training in a manufacturing / production environment. OR equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
