Reliable Temps is searching for Extrusion Operators to join a team on their 2nd and 3rd Shift, in Athol, MA. Job Duties Strictly adheres to Company and Plant safety policies and procedures. Break down, clean and set up on all dies and restart extruders with no supervision. Operate an extrusion line without assistance. Minimize the amount of set up time for a particular job. Troubleshoots downstream equipment problems. Produces parts from more than one material. Prepares lines for production. Checks line activity sheets, key dimension sheets and reads shop orders. Produce parts that meet the quality specification at or above specified rate. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality throughout the entire part run. Operate two or more lines. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment. Trains or assists in the training of other operators. Manages materials and minimizes waste. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills 1+ years in manufacturing, specifically extrusion machine operation. High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc. Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbally.
