Operating in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we pride ourselves on innovation, environmental responsibility, and exceptional customer service. Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Packaging Folder/Gluer Operators to join our dynamic 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating converting machines that fold and glue paper packaging products, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will help us produce top-tier packaging solutions efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Set up and operate folder/gluers to produce precise paper packaging components Interpret production documents and specifications to ensure accurate folding and gluing processes Adjust machine settings and perform mechanical troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks throughout the production run to meet quality standards in production Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Perform manual handling tasks, including loading materials and stacking finished products with care Maintain accurate production records and adhere to manufacturing management procedures Requirements Prior experience operating machinery , especially folder/gluers or similar industrial equipment Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and strict adherence to safety protocol guidelines Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and technical drawings accurately Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments Knowledge of printing, prepress processes, and sheetfed press operations is a plus Strong manual handling skills and physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout shifts Join our team at dcc where your skills will contribute directly to producing innovative packaging solutions while working in a vibrant, safety-focused environment!
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
