Job Description

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc., a leader in cable carriers and machine protection systems, seeks an Assembly Utility Operator to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will assemble and inspect cable carrier components, operate basic production equipment, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards. You'll rotate across workstations, follow detailed work instructions, and assist with material handling and packaging. Responsibilities Assemble cable carrier and machine protection components to specification Operate basic production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently Inspect parts for defects and verify measurements to ensure quality standards Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules Rotate between workstations to support changing production needs Handle materials, load/unload parts, and assist with packaging Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5 S principles Document production counts, defects, and basic data in systems or forms Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives Required Skills Mechanical assembly Use of hand and power tools Blueprints and work instructions reading Quality inspection and measurement Basic mechanical aptitude Troubleshooting production issues Safety procedures and OSHA standards Lean manufacturing/5 S practices Basic computer/data entry for production tracking Material handling and inventory basics
