Machine Operator Job Description The Machine Operator sets up and operates a variety of automated, high-speed production lines that manufacture disposable products used in healthcare and other professional environments. In this role, you lead a small team on the line, work hands-on with complex machinery, and stay constantly attentive to machine controls, equipment performance, and the quality of the finished products.

Shift:

4:00pm - 2:00am, Monday - Friday Responsibilities Set up and operate automated production lines in accordance with work instructions and product documentation. Lead and guide the production line team to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent machine operation. Monitor machine controls and equipment performance to maintain high-quality output and identify issues early. Make equipment adjustments as needed to ensure defect-free products and minimize downtime. Perform basic troubleshooting on machines to resolve production issues and maintain throughput. Maintain the work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition throughout the shift. Communicate promptly and clearly with Maintenance to report equipment problems and support quick resolution. Follow all established policies, rules, and regulations, including lock-out tag-out procedures and safe machine practices. Complete required quality and production paperwork accurately and on time. Read and interpret basic production documentation and related instructions to support correct machine setup and operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with automated or high-speed production equipment. Experience in general production or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with reading and understanding blueprints or technical diagrams. Experience completing quality documentation or production records. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleborough, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
