Job Description
A company that embraces innovation is currently seeking a Machine Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Middleboro, MA.
Responsibilities of Machine Operator:
- Set-up and Operated manufacturing machines
- Monitor machines making adjustments and stopping/starting the machines as needed
- Assemble parts and pieces together following all work orders, instructions and specifications
- Inspect assemblies for proper fits and make adjustments as needed
- Perform refurbishing, bypass, and sub-assemblies
- Complete tests and inspections of products
- Utilize measuring tools including OD Micrometer, Vernier and Drop Gage during quality checks ensuring specifications are consistently met
- Remove scrap metal from machines
- Report any equipment or tooling failures
- Maintain daily logs, documentation, and inspection reports
- Follow all work instructions and work orders
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Machine Operator:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years Machine operation experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Past experience using measuring tools such as OD Micrometer, Vernier and Drop Gage
- Mechanically Inclined
- able to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic Math skills
- Able to lift and carry 40lbs regularly
- Superior attention to detail
- able to train on the first shift 1st shift:
Hours:
4:30am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday OR 6:30am-3:00pmMonday-Friday Pay Rate:
$18.00- 20.
Monday-Friday Pay Rate:
