Job Description
Machine Operator Whithinsville,MA Are you ready to master the art of glass manufacturing? Our client, a renowned leader in the glass industry, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 2nd & 3rd shift. Join our client's team and contribute to creating exceptional glass products that stand out in quality and design. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator Learn and perform all tasks associated with the assigned tempering production line station. Maintain and organize paperwork associated with glass cutting to ensure accurate tracking. Conduct inspections on glass products to identify and report quality issues. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by addressing tripping hazards and cleaning spills. Support other departmental functions and housekeeping duties as needed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements of Machine Operator Ability to read a tape measure and interpret written measurements accurately. Proficiency in operating machinery, including saws, drills, and power tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift glass panels up to 75 lbs for extended periods. High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a warehouse or construction setting is a plus, but not required.
