Job Description

Nauset Screenprinting & Embroidery is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team in Orleans, Massachusetts. This role is responsible for operating commercial embroidery equipment to decorate uniforms, hats, bags, outerwear, and a variety of promotional products. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, works efficiently and enjoys being part of a team that delivers exceptional products and customer service. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate commercial embroidery machines for daily production. Hoop garments and promotional products accurately and efficiently. Load embroidery designs and ensure proper machine settings. Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues during production. Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and accuracy. Trim threads, clean garments, and prepare completed orders for packaging. Maintain production schedules and meet order deadlines. Conduct routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance. Assist with inventory management of threads, backing, needles, and supplies. Work with the production team to prioritize and complete customer orders. Follow company quality standards and production procedures. Qualifications Preferred Experience but willing to train Experience operating commercial embroidery equipment Experience in apparel decoration, screen printing, embroidery, or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with uniforms, corporate apparel, promotional products, and custom merchandise. Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and organized. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move boxes and materials up to 40 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Good vision and color recognition for quality inspection.
Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
