Job Title:
Entry-Level Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level Machine Operator to join a 1st shift production team in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and is eager to learn a skilled trade. No prior machine operating experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
Pay:
$22
•$27/hr (based on experience)
Shift:
First (1st) shift: 6:00am
•3:00pm, Monday
•Friday Responsibilities Operate wood-processing and production machinery safely and efficiently after completing training. Read and interpret tape measurements to ensure accurate cuts and proper assembly of materials. Perform basic math calculations, including working with fractions, to meet measurement and production requirements. Inspect materials and finished products to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications. Assist with crate production, including assembly and packaging tasks as needed to support workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. Follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies at all times. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals. Perform general production and general labor tasks related to machine operation and material handling. Support saw operating and other mechanical processes as required by production demands. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior manufacturing or woodworking experience is a plus but not required. Experience with machine operation or machine operating in a production setting is beneficial. in saw operating or wood-processing machinery is advantageous. Comfort working with mechanical systems and tools in a hands-on role. Ability to collaborate with a production team and communicate clearly with coworkers. Why Work Here? Work is performed on 1st shift in a fast-paced production environment with wood-processing machinery, saws, and general manufacturing equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pembroke, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00
