Operating Technician Responsibilities:

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification
• Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption production rate and material consumption
• Inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up
• Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
• Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution
• Ensure part quality meets established standards
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Follow good manufacturing practices
• Complete shift documentation/paperwork
• Go over job status and updates with incoming shift
• Participate in safety programs
• Follow established safety procedures
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment Requirements for

Operating Technician:

• One year manufacturing or related experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements
• Ability to solve basic math problems
• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift 10-50 lbs
