Job Description
Machine Operator Job Summary Operate production machines in a roofing materials manufacturing plant. You will run equipment, monitor production, make basic machine adjustments, inspect products, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Operate production machines such as extruders and presses. Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments. Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. Report scrap and production information accurately. Help troubleshoot minor machine issues. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures. Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals. Operate a sit-down forklift if trained. Requirements Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability. Ability to work around loud equipment, dust and fumes. Strong attention to detail and quality. Reliable attendance and ability to work 12-hour shifts. Willingness to learn. Work Environment Industrial manufacturing facility producing roofing materials. Loud, dusty, and sometimes hot environment. Exposure to machinery, fumes, and odors. Must wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Senatobia, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
