Machine Operator Job Description The Machine Operator runs production equipment, monitors output quality, and performs packaging and inspection of parts to support efficient manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Operate assigned production machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures. Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments to maintain consistent product quality. Inspect parts visually and using basic measurement tools to ensure they meet quality standards. Package finished parts accurately and securely in accordance with production and customer requirements. Perform general production and labor tasks as needed to support the manufacturing process. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety guidelines and report any equipment issues or hazards to supervision. Essential Skills At least 1 year of recent experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience operating production or manufacturing machinery. Ability to perform visual inspection of parts for defects or quality issues. Experience with general labor and general production tasks. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures. Strong attention to detail when inspecting and packaging parts. Reliability and consistency in attendance and job performance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in packaging finished goods in a production environment. Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Willingness to learn new machines and processes as needed. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility and involves working on or near production machinery throughout the shift. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with standard safety practices and guidelines in place. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
