Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw ingredients following established formulas and batch sheets
  • Operate mixing, blending, and batching equipment safely and efficiently
  • Verify ingredient identity, lot numbers, and quantities prior to use
  • Monitor batches during production to ensure consistency, texture, flavor, and appearance
  • Submit samples to Quality Control for testing
  • Filter batches and ingredients as required
  • Perform in-process quality checks and document results
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety guidelines at all times
  • Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas, including proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment
  • Report deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Assist with inventory tracking of raw materials and finished compounds
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or food science training preferred
  • Must have 2+ years experience in flavor, food or beverage manufacturing, compounding, or batching preferred
  • Ability to read and follow detailed formulas, SOPs, and batch records
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math skills for measurements and conversions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations is a plus
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
  • Ability to work in environments with temperature variations, noise, food ingredients, and some exposure to odors and chemicals
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
