• 20 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible.

The Position We need candidates with copper fabrication expertise. Our technicians will perform functions associated with the assembly of our marine air conditioners, including rework and quality testing related to production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. This person will be experienced in working with HVAC copper tube fabrication including soldering, brazing and bending. Responsibilities include charging systems and conducting final tests for all equipment. The technician will support small-scale manufacturing operations in troubleshooting and resolving issues, and in implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. May perform other related duties as assigned or required, with the following skills:

• Ability to read blueprints
• Follows instructions with attention to detail
• Performs system testing This is a craftsmanship role.

This technician is a team player, must be conscientious and take pride in their work while demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The technician will work alongside the business lead and occasionally with electrical and software engineers. Must have the ability and drive to learn new methods quickly. May assist in packaging and preparing units for shipping.

Starting at $20 per hour (based on experience) Requirements for the position:

• Understanding of operation of self-contained air conditioning systems.
• Skilled in Brazing & Soldering
• Two years in troubleshooting & repair of Air conditioning systems
• Hands-on experience working with HVAC
• Strong verbal & written documentation skills
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Successful candidate must have:

• High school Diploma or equivalent; preferably HVAC School.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the US.
