Mold Setter- 8 Hour Day Shift

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

Follow schedule and change molds in a safe and efficient mannerChange/ pull molds for repair, ect. as instructed by immediate supervisorProper setup and testing of robots as neededNotify immediate supervisor of any issue or problems encountered while changing moldsPerform other duties as directed by your immediate supervisorMaintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environmentReport any unsafe conditions and/or equipment to the immediate supervisorLockout any unsafe equipment and takes necessary action, complete a work order to maintenance department as needed. Notify immediate supervisorInspect condition of holes in platen at each mold change. Repair holes needing attendancePerform other duties as directed by immediate supervisorBe familiar with and follow all food-safety procedures/ instructions related to your workBe familiar with and follow all ISO, SQF, and HACCP procedures/ instructions related to your work

Qualifications:

Previous injection molding experience a plus1-2 years heavy equipment experience requiredHigh School Diploma/ GED preferredPrevious knowledge of SQF and ISO guidelinesThe starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19.50 per hour; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $19.50and $25.00.OurExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
