Full-Time, Temporary/Contract Placers Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to join the team of one of our premier manufacturing clients in the Elkton, MD area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and take pride in producing high-quality work while following established safety and quality procedures. What You'll Do Set up and operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Manufacture and assemble products according to established specifications Follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards Accurately collect, document, and enter production data Make detailed observations and identify potential quality concerns Work within a controlled and/or cleanroom manufacturing environment Maintain production schedules while prioritizing quality and accuracy Collaborate with team members, leadership, engineering, and safety personnel Support continuous improvement and area improvement initiatives Cross-train and assist in other manufacturing areas as business needs change Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality What We're Looking For 3 years of full-time work experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience High school diploma or GED Basic computer and math skills with the ability to learn additional computer applications Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written instructions Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, dependable, and task-oriented Ability to adapt to changing manufacturing priorities and business needs Continuous improvement mindset Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Flexibility to work overtime when required Additional Requirements Candidates must be able to successfully complete a visual acuity assessment , which includes: 20/20 vision, with or without corrective lenses Binocular vision Color vision Preferred Experience Previous manufacturing or production experience Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment Familiarity with manufacturing computer systems such as PLM, MES, or ERP systems Schedule 3rd
