The Machine Operator position is responsible for the setup and operation of machinery necessary to manufacture custom products. The Machine Operator uses equipment, tools, and instructions to generate products that meet quality standards and customer needs. What You'll Do:
Learn to set up and operate equipment (presses and other machines) necessary to manufacture custom products Keep the press running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality Learn to troubleshoot common press challenges Enter materials used and other information in the ERP computer system Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

No press experience? We will train you! Strouse's equipment and processes are custom to our business; everyone is trained when they join Strouse! Candidates with mechanical knowledge or interests
- machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance Proficient use of hand tools Basic measurement proficiency and drawing interpretation Good communication, problem solving, listening, and interpersonal skills.
A strong work ethic and team player mentality Willingness to learn
Computer Proficiency:
Basic Data Entry Skills High School Diploma or GED It's a plus if you have: Mechanical Experience Machine Operation Experience in Manufacturing Industry Experience Working with Tight Tolerances Experience Using Various Types of Measuring Instruments Experience Using Video Measurement Machines Physical Requirements must be met by an employee (with or without reasonable accommodation) to successfully perform the essential functions of the Machine Operator position: Frequent standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling Regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 50 pounds, Frequently lift, and/or move objects that weigh 50 to 75 pounds Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds.
