Production Manager / Operations Supervisor Job Summary The Medical Marijuana Rolling Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring automated rolling equipment used in the production of pre-rolled medical cannabis products. This role ensures consistent product quality, adherence to State of Maine medical cannabis regulations, and compliance with all internal safety and sanitation standards. Must have an (RIC) Registry Identification Card or the ability to obtain one. Key Responsibilities Operate automated rolling machines to produce medical marijuana pre-rolls in accordance with production schedules Load, adjust, and calibrate rolling machines to ensure proper weight, density, and consistency Conduct routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with labeling and packaging standards Accurately track production data, including batch numbers, weights, and waste Follow all Maine Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) regulations and company standard operating procedures (SOPs) Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production environment Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or compliance concerns to management promptly Work collaboratively with cultivation, processing, and compliance teams Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Eligible to work in the State of Maine's medical cannabis industry High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs Strong attention to detail and quality control Comfortable working with machinery and repetitive tasks Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in cannabis production, manufacturing, or machine operation Familiarity with medical cannabis compliance and tracking systems Mechanical aptitude or experience troubleshooting production equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds as needed Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work in a production environment with cannabis odors Work Environment Indoor production facility Fast-paced, compliance-driven environment Exposure to cannabis plant material and machinery
