Machine Operator

Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of the production line, responsible for operating machinery efficiently. You will utilize a pallet jack to load materials into the machine, perform setup, and ensure smooth operations. Attention to detail is crucial as you will interpret the Bill of Materials (BOM) to correctly configure the machine. Although previous experience is preferred, training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities Operate machinery as part of the production line. Use a pallet jack to load materials into the machine. Perform setup and ensure the machine operates smoothly. Read and interpret the Bill of Materials (BOM) to configure the machine accurately. Maintain high standards of reliability, dependability, and attendance. Essential Skills Experience in production or machine operation is preferred. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to read a tape measure. Capability to consistently lift 50+ lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous production experience is advantageous. The setting can be loud at times, and safety is a priority. Long pants, eye protection, and high-visibility clothing are required, with steel-toed footwear recommended for additional safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saco, ME. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
