Pre-Roll & Packaging Technician Meowy Jane Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week $18-$22/hour, Depending on experience Meowy Jane is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Pre-Roll & Packaging Technician to join our production team. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement of cannabis flower and finished products through the post-harvest and packaging process. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets, has strong attention to detail, and understands that consistency, cleanliness, documentation, and compliance are essential in a regulated cannabis facility. This position requires the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced production environment in order to complete work in a timely manner. This position must be able to follow process flow, meet productivity standards and demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail, along with the ability to work independently or with a team, is required. Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Weigh and prepare cannabis flower for pre-roll production and packaging. Accurately weigh flower and record weights, quantities, batches, and production information. Assist with moving flower and finished products through various stages of the production process. Prepare, fill, assemble, and inspect pre-rolls according to Meowy Jane quality standards. Package and label finished cannabis products accurately and efficiently. Verify product weights, counts, labels, lot information, dates, and other required information. Maintain and update production records, spreadsheets, inventory documentation, and other company records. Assist with inventory counts, product reconciliation, and identifying discrepancies. Assist with METRC tracking, inventory adjustments, transfers, package creation, and other required seed-to-sale documentation. Track packaging materials and communicate when supplies need to be replenished. Assist with required cannabis tracking and compliance documentation. Properly document and handle cannabis waste according to company procedures. Perform quality-control checks and report damaged, contaminated, or non-conforming product. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas and equipment.. Follow all SOPs, safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Communicate production needs, discrepancies, equipment issues, and quality concerns to management. Assist the production team with additional tasks as needed. Working in a Cannabis Facility This position requires working within a highly regulated, controlled-access cannabis facility. Employees must be comfortable following detailed procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.

Follow all applicable cannabis laws, regulations, company policies, and SOPs. Obtain and maintain any required cannabis worker licensing, identification, or credentials. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company operations, products, and processes. Follow sanitation and contamination-prevention procedures. Wear company-provided scrubs and required PPE throughout designated production areas. Follow all PPE and hygiene requirements. Understand that personal belongings, food, beverages, and jewelry are not allowed in production areas. Accurately account for all cannabis and cannabis-containing materials handled during production. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions This is an active production position in a climate-controlled facility maintained at specific environmental conditions to support the quality, stability, and proper handling of cannabis products. Employees should be comfortable working in a cooler production environment for extended periods of time. The job requires the ability to: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Stand and/or sit for extended periods. Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements. Reach and extend arms for extended periods. Bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the production area. Perform detailed visual work for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Maintain a fast, consistent production pace while meeting quality and accuracy standards.
