You are being redirected Once you are on the page, please click the refer button Job Overview Qualifications Benefits Job Overview Fulltime position within Stellantis Product Design Office Milling and Digitizing Department requiring the individual to be highly organized and experienced in milling & digitizing operations. This opportunity requires specific knowledge and experience in milling machinery, metrology(digitizing), shop organization, and a proven ability to work in a team environment. The position will entail the use of 3 and 5 axis milling machines, post mills, and vertical milling centers. It will involve working in materials such as composite foams in a range of densities, clay, metals and various plastics. Responsibilities will include model prep (packing clay, foaming up fixtures) and model set-up within a gridded system.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 5 years of experience using 3 and 5 axis NC milling machines Capable of using all common shop machines Capable of using all common power hand tools Proficient at reading and building from CAD (NX, Catia, …) and/or blueprints Computer competency - Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Trade school certificate/enrollment Bachelor's Degree 8 years of experience using 3 and 5 axis NC milling machines 5years of experience using CAM in NX, Catia… (creating cutter paths) 2 years of experience in metrology (light scanning) 2 years of experience using CAM (creating cutter paths) Experience operating a rapid prototype machine Clay Sculpting experience Fabrication experience (wood, metal, plastic) Automotive paint experience Capacity and desire for leadership Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and capable of working without supervision Detail oriented and making efficient use of time Benefits Salaried Employee Benefits (US, Non-Represented) Health & Wellbeing Comprehensive coverages encompassing the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and overall Wellbeing of our employees, including short- and long-term disability.
