Job Description

Nesco Resource has partnered with a well-established and innovative technology company in Auburn Hills, MI. We are currently seeking 2nd shift associates for our client. This position pays $18.00 SCHEDULE The hours will be 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. This will be a rotating schedule: one week will consist of 12-hour shifts for 4 days, and the next will consist of 12-hour shifts for 3 days. The schedule will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for one week, and the next week will be Wednesday through Saturday.
ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly of lithium-ion battery packs, working on a high-volume, fast-paced assembly line. Flexible and capable of cross-training to promote job rotation and team building. Become proficient across multiple roles and stations. Daily accountability for safety, quality, and production requirements. Start of shift preventative maintenance activities & end of shift clean up. Read and follow work instructions, drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Positions, aligns, and assembles parts in a specified relationship to each other in a jig or fixture. Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Maintain a safe, clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations. Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits to ensure conformance to specifications. Pack finished products for shipment. Verify dimensions and clearances to ensure conformance to standards. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Escalation of safety, quality, maintenance, and production issues for immediate response from the support team. Participate in material cycle counts, inventory, and scrap counts Other tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The ability to participate and foster an excellent work environment, along with respect for coworkers, is a must-have. Must have good attendance and be willing to work overtime as needed. Flexible to work 4 shift work schedule Reading, writing, & comprehension skills Ability to follow work instructions Ability to stand for 12 hours. Walk, carry light objects, handle parts, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 lbs.
