Our client, Chelsea Milling Company
  • JIFFY, is seeking Packaging and Mixing Operators to join their team.
Most openings are on 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Packaging and Mixing Operators Location:
Chelsea, MI Pay Range:
P ay is $18.30 per hour.
Shift:
Monday through
Friday:
2nd shift is 3pm-11pm; and 3rd shift is 11pm-7am. What's the Job? Mix batches of products ensuring the correct ingredients and quantities are used according to recipe specifications. Operate control panels and scales accurately to feed ingredients into the mixer. Monitor ingredient quality and report any contamination or non-conforming products immediately. Operate and monitor all packaging equipment including boxmaker, filler, checkweigher, top sealer, and baler to ensure efficient production. Maintain product quality by inspecting shells, cartons, and printed labels for accuracy and proper quality standards. Load, adjust, and maintain packaging machinery to optimize output and ensure safety compliance. What's Needed? Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Willingness to learn and train others on job duties. Basic understanding of operating packaging machinery is preferred but not required. Must pass a drug test (Oral
  • 10 Panel) and a criminal background check (Enhanced Nationwide Search).
