Job Description

StageRight is seeking a Machine Technician to support the production of modular staging, risers, and seating systems used in schools, worship spaces, and performance venues. In this hands-on role, you will set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment such as saws, presses, CNC machines, and drills to meet precise specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing quality checks, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, and following strict safety procedures. You'll collaborate with a team focused on reliability and craftsmanship, helping deliver durable, safe, and easy-to-assemble products for live event environments. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor production machines for staging and seating components Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements to meet specifications Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting Inspect parts for quality, tolerances, and finish; document results Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve issues Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper tool care Report equipment issues and assist with minor repairs or adjustments Required Skills Machine operation Preventive maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting CNC setup and operation Blueprint and schematic reading Use of calipers and measuring tools Quality inspection Basic electrical/mechanical repair Industrial safety procedures Production documentation
