Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate laser cutting equipment to produce precise components ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Your expertise in CNC laser cutting, at console program editing, and fabrication will be essential in supporting our production goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment that values innovation and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and run laser machine.
  • Program download and console editing as required.
  • Machine diagnostics & troubleshooting.
  • Proper stacking, protection and cleaning of parts as required maintaining specified quality standard.
  • Measure verification of cut material
  • Accurate part counting and production data entry as required.
  • Transfer material using fork truck and pallet jack
  • Program and document revisions as required.
Experience Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings for manufacturing applications. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators accurately. Ability to use a grinder Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality control procedures. Certification or training in forklift operation, crane safety or related equipment is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of Trumpf laser equipment is preferred
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
