As part of the Detroit Diesel Corporation team, you are responsible for performing manual labor on or supporting the production line. Posting Information We provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning. We Take Care of Our Team This position offers: Starting at $17.50/hr , progressing through scheduled increases to $26.00/hr , with a maximum rate of $37.40+ by 2031.
Shift Premiums:
Afternoon and Midnight shifts receive a 7.5% premium .
Paid Holidays:
Average of 16 per year.

Profit Sharing:
Eligibility for annual company profit sharing. C.O.L.A.(Cost Of Living Adjustment): Currently $0.26/hr increase and recalculated quarterly. 401(k)
Company Match:
Company match of 75% on a maximum of 8% contribution. New hires will be automatically enrolled at 6%. 401(k)
Defined Contribution:
Company contribution currently $2.15/hr.
Vacation:
40-200 hours based on years of service (1 year to 20+ years). Paid Absence Allowance (PAA): 56 hours per year; unused days earn $130/day bonus

DTNA:
Assembly Material handling Shipping & receiving Quality Minor tool repair, minor equipment repair and preventative maintenance Use required hand tools and supplied power tools in assigned task assembly. Adhere to all safety standards. Release product to next work group complete based on quality and productivity standards. Capable of working in a team environment. Comfortable in a dynamic environment where you will have to learn multiple jobs and tasks.
Required Skills & Experience:
High school diploma (or equivalent) MUST be open to work any shift Basic reading and math skills Basic understanding of engine assembly, design, and function Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment that requires the ability to lift, carry, pull and push moderate to heavy equipment, tools and parts
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Two years of manufacturing experience Heavy duty truck assembly, automotive assembly or related experience Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Detroit Manufacturing Plant. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
