Oversee team workflow, quality, and daily production needs. Maintain equipment, consumables, and overall cleanliness of the work area. Organize sheet stock and drop materials and keep the area clear of clutter. Qualifications Experience operating and supervising CO2 Laser and Press Brake equipment. Must be able to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other written/verbal instructions. Knowledge and understanding of working with Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Mild Steel, including determining material types and gauges. Basic mathematical skills; able to read tape measures and calipers. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize daily production needs. Ability to operate various pieces of equipment including drill press, vertical band saw, grinders, and a multitude of hand tools used in metal fabrication. Able to regularly lift and/or move products and material up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods of time. Mandatory that all duties are performed in conjunction with OSHA and MIOSHA requirements. Responsibilities Timely attendance. Supervise the loading and unloading of sheet stock onto the laser and ensure material is cut according to program files. Oversee laser setup and ensure equipment is properly set up according to each program run. Ensure drop material is properly tagged and placed in designated excess drop locations. Work in accordance with all procedures and instructions identified; complete required paperwork and computer entries as required - ensure accuracy of all entries. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working order. Support and lead the team in creating efficient ways to fabricate products. Oversee workflow and assist with resolving production issues as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervise the loading and unloading of sheet stock onto the shear and ensure material is cut according to print and cut sheet. This is a 40-hour work week. Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime available 2:30pm-4:30pm daily and Saturdays 6:00am to 11:00am.
